Breaking up can be a life changing experience. Most girls feel that when they are in a committed relationship, that that person is THE ONE. Girls envision themselves married to this guy and having his kids. Other times, though, breaking up is no big deal. It’s easy to move on the next available hunk. If you and your boyfriend had a heated break up, it’s best to take a breather and take a week or two away from each other. One might be angry while the other is frustrated. Whatever the reason is, take a break from each other. After a week or two, you might want to either text, email or physically write a letter. Having no contact is best in the beginning if you feel you two should still be together. In the letter or email state that you still want to talk things through and that you feel your relationship is worth the fight.
Another suggestion is to go to counseling before the big break up. If you notice more argument and more frustration, then consider talking to someone. If your partner wants to save the relationship then they will go to a counselor. It may take some persuading and some time but eventually the other person will go if they truly want to save the relationship. Talking to a third party will enable more controlled talking and less yelling.
